New red trike

United StatesGreat Trike but could use a few improvements
This trike was gifted to my son on his first birthday. Since then, we have used it nearly every day for 3 months, he loves it. But the treads on the plastic wheels have already worn completely off. I came to this site looking for a set of replacement rubber wheels, which would last longer and reduce bumping on those residential sidewalk reliefs as well as make this trike somewhat trail-worthy at the park. Sadly, there are no rubber wheels available for this product. Also, i find the twist to turn mechanism to be pretty ineffective, especially when my son slams his foot on either of the pedals and suddenly twists the front wheel to the side. I suggest using the handle more as a push-steering device like the handle on a shopping cart as opposed to a twist-steering device. All in all, a good idea, but a bit flawed and could use some updates to make it truly great.

We bought this for my son’s first birthday (a little early for the 15 month recommendation) and he loves it! The steering is very sensitive and smooth, and it seems to handle the sidewalk bumps pretty good as well. It’s nice to have something that converts as he grows too!

A little too small for our 2 year old. Need a larger version. He just got it on his birthday 4/1, already jammed into petals. (He's wearing 4t/5t but won't fit into trike in 3 months.)
